Cinco de Mayo Pop Up
What: Fort Worth Makers will be popping up in the Near Southside on Cinco de Mayo! Join us at Fixture Kitchen & Social Lounge for a festive pop up featuring 16 local artisans, $5 margaritas, $3 mimosas, an award-winning brunch, plus a photo booth and giveaways.
Please note, this is a small pop-up, and not a full-blown market 😉 We expect around 250 guests.
Where: Fixture (401 West Magnolia Avenue). Fort Worth Makers will be set up on Fixture's covered patio.
When: Sunday, May 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Who Can Apply: Local artisans and handcrafted goods only. Must be made locally, by you! Priority given to Fort Worth residents, but all DFW artisans are welcome to apply!
Vendor Cost: $40 for a 6x3 outdoor space – the pop up is held on Fixture's covered patio, so no tents are needed or allowed. Payment due within 72 hours of acceptance. Booth payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Promotion: Fort Worth Makers Markets are promoted through paid social media ads, the Fort Worth Makers website/newsletter/social media pages, Near Southside website, Visit Fort Worth, Visit DFW, Art&Seek, GuideLive (Dallas Morning News), Eventbrite, Fixture's email blast/website/social media. Each accepted vendor will be featured individually on Fort Worth Makers' social media platforms.
- FOOD VENDORS: Please note that since this pop up is held at a restaurant, the only food items allowed are sweets that are packaged for takeaway.
- JEWELRY VENDORS: This is such a popular category! With only three jewelry spots available, priority for this pop up will be given to first-time participants and will be based on quality and originality.

No MLM, resell or non-handmade products.
Must provide your own table and display for a 6x3' outdoor space. No electricity provided since this is a daytime event. Chairs will be provided.
Must be ready to sell by 10:00 a.m. and may not tear down before 2 p.m. for any reason.
Must pay invoice within 72 hours of acceptance or spot will be forfeited due to waitlists.
The State of Texas requires market vendors to have a sales tax ID. Artists are responsible for collecting and paying sales tax as required by law.
Application Deadline is March 24
Acceptance emails will be sent out by March 30.
Vendors will be selected based on quality and originality of products, as well as online presence. Popular categories will be capped to avoid over saturation and direct competition between vendors.
